Is there a kit to lower the RT driver seat like the F3 seat?
Ummm... No.
You can get after-market seats, altho I do believe that most of them use an OEM seat pan as a base, and the F3 seats won't fit on an RT, so there's not really all that much 'lowering' possible! :lecturef_smilie:
As for this:
Does anyone know what year model RT that had the lower driver seat, similar to the F3. I want an RT but I don't like the higher drive seat. It just does not feel as sporty to me.
2020 was when the latest version of the RT's came out, and they have more of an 'F3' feel than any of the earlier RT's, altho I reckon that's only due to the single rider's seat rather than the combined rider/pillion seat, and the longer footboard's, allowing for more of a 'feet forward' seating position.
But apart from that, I think that if you want a factory Spyder that 'feels sporty', buy an F3 base or an F3-S; or if you want a more 'touring/cruising' ride with only a nod toward 'sporty' buy an F3-T or an F3-L; and if you want 'Cruising/Comfort', then buy an RT.

That's pretty much it for the OEM options.
Mind you, I prefer the more upright seating position and the comfort of my V-Twin 2013 RTL, but I wanted a bit sharper ride & better performance, so I tossed the (already worn out) OEM Kendas for much better car tires running at 18 psi, upgraded the shocks & springs, the sway bar & links, the air intake & exhaust (juuust a little), and I got an ECU Upgrade - and even with their (basically lazy but still admittedly torquey 1330 motors) not only does my RT show
all the OEM Spec F3's & RT's a clean pair of heels, there's also not
too many modified F3's or RT's out there that can keep up with it now, even with
me riding!!

Yet it's still nice & comfy for cruising and our longer distance touring! When we're just cruising at or around the speed limit here in Oz, it even returns close to the same fuel economy as most 1330's, altho the smaller gas tank does mean it's still got less range.
Back before I got the RT, on all our other bikes the Child Bride used to call for a day or two's break from riding after a couple of thousand miles or a few days; but on our first big trip on the RT, when I suggested we have the break she usually called for, she told me to keep going, and then didn't call for a break until we'd covered about 10,000 km in just under 3 week's riding! Mind you, even then she did comment on the lack of 'sportiness' about the RT in stock trim & tune... it just wasn't what she was used to. What can I say - she's a rev-head from way back. I taught her to drive in a (barely) Street-legal Race car, so I guess I've only got myself to blame!
Anyhow, (while I juuust might have been planning on doing something similar before-hand anyway

) that's what I'm telling everyone triggered the mods I did, and finding Jase from RotaxRacing to tweak the ECU to something significantly '
less strangled & de-tuned' really put the icing on the RT - the ECU Upgrade unleashed a lot of the deliberately hidden potential in the engine & driveline, and the rest is history - the Child Bride doesn't complain about it not being sporty enough anymore!

hyea: Oh, and all you people complaining about your Spyder's 'not too much over 110mph' top speed, I'm sorry for you, I truly am... :roflblack:
So Spyderrg, if you like the RT but want 'sporty', toss OEM Kendas and fit any of the much better car tires discussed here on the Forum (wear the Kendas out first if you must, but then fit car tires and run them at a much more appropriate pressure for the lighter loading - about 18 psi

) upgrade the shocks & springs, the sway bar & links, the air intake & exhaust (juuust a little), and get an ECU Upgrade! :lecturef_smilie: You'll get comfort
AND Sporty!

hyea: Or you could always buy an older V-Twin RS, ST, or RT & enjoy the livelier, more responsive, revvier V-twin motor, but you might need to do all your own maintenance!
