• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

K&N Filter

K&N replacement 33-2006 was $35 New Amazon FREE SHIP
Stock= About $26
Green Filter= $67 plus Shipping.

Such Decisions!

Don't recommend using the 33-2006 unless you support the sides. The pleats run lengthwise and offer no side support. The New K&N fits great and is on ebay for 55.00 w/ free shipping...:2thumbs:

I am a bit confused... Why would it matter which way the pleats ran? The filter sits top to bottom, and pretty snugg/well in my humble opinion in installing it. The rubber lining which surrounds the whole thing is pretty stiff/firm.

I bought this as a cheaper option, prior to the new K&N filter coming out. Again I have had no issues with it.

Ohhh, Ouch! ...Now that's a lot like coming right out and telling it like it is! :yikes:

I'm running the "Unsupported" K&N filter and it works just fine for me.
