• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trunk lock not locking - are they adjustable? Incorrect dealer set-up?

So we have two 2023 RTL's, on both of them if you lock the trunk you can still open them by pushing on the side (either side) of the latch. I thought I was going crazy but checked another and found it's not the same. Are the locks adjustable? Is it possible the dealer just adjusted them wrong?

Deanna777, thank you for this video. I have/had the same issue on my 2023 Sea to Sky. Fixed

MCole, You are Welcome! I am glad that the video helped to fix the issue you had on your 2023 Sea to Sky.

Awesome little video, took less than 10 minutes to do both of them. What an annoying little hiccup while traveling. Thank you soo much.

SpyderStro, I am glad the video helped. You are Welcome!

Wife has a 2020 Spyder RTL that had the trunk lid popping open when riding. Could have been the same you tube video for the lock tab adjustment. Luckily has not happened again.

ReRose,

Take a look at the link on post # 2 on this thread.

I just noticed if I push moderately hard near the left end of the rear trunk handle that the lock will release - not good!

Is it just me?

I guess I will have to see the dealer this coming week.

Mine does the same thing - '22 Spyder RTL. I think I saw where you can adjust the pegs (prongs?) and that will fix it. One of these rides back to Vancover, Wa. and I will stop by the dealer and find out.
