• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weight of the trailer

Babymoose

RT-S PE#639
Has anyone seen any info on the weight of the trailer. I have heard 250lbs empty with a total of up to 400 loaded. 250 empty seems a bit heavy for a non tent trailer type.

175 sticks in my mind, but I don't remember where it came from. I think it was from my dealer's accessory catalog, back in September, when we were considering purchase. On the other hand, I could have just dreamed it up, or gotten mixed up with another trailer. Maybe your dealer can shed some light on it.

I picked up a copy of the specs when I went on my demo ride, here they are;

Overall lenght 7'8"
Overall width 3'8"
Overall height 2'10"
Approx. Weight 250 lbs
Capacity 22 cu.ft

:thumbup:Thanks for that. Sure seems heavy compared to other similar trailers! Doesn't matter I have one on order. Good to know the other dimensions too - I want to find a way to stack the trailer above the RT in the garage

I have a Bushtec trailer that weights 125 lbs and can carry up to 250lbs.
I'm having a hard time believing this new trailer weights 250 lbs. :dontknow:

So at 44" wide the wheel track will be narrower than the front wheels on the Spyder so now that is 5 tracks to try to get around potholes & objects on the road - two wheels was so much simpler from that point of view.
