• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Needed new tires. Dealership said what?!

I have that same lift I bought at the local harbor freight a couple of years ago. It's gone up $40 in price. Nice lift though.

I called 2 dealers to replace my tire.

Both said only with a Kenda OEM tire.:banghead:

One quoted $380- and can get me in July 27.:yikes:

the second stealership quoted $350- and he could do in the first week of August.:yikes::roflblack:

I went and bought myself this (https://www.harborfreight.com/1500-...-lift-63397.html?_br_psugg_q=motorcycle+lifts ) and in 2 tire changes I'll have broken even.

Crazy. Although I will say that at 110.00 an hour for service time in a shop that's probably close. BUT, you'll be back in another 8000 miles on that Kenda, and still have the same poor performance from it.
Kumho from eBay was 95.00 delivered. Mount and balance local was about 30.00 . 3 ounces of balance beads tossed in when mounted, 10.00 from Amazon. Cheap hydraulic floor jack, some wood blocks, and 4 hours of my time.

Actually, the price hasn't gone up at all. What really happened is that your money is simply worth $40.00 less than it was when you purchased your 1st one.

Just wondering if you have used this jack yet? Wanting to make sure that it is indeed low enough to reach the center frame of the Spyder without hitting things.

If the jack doesn't slide under just simply add air to the rear shock. That'll raise it enough for the jack to slide under. That's what I do with my Crapsman jack which is the same as the HF one.
