Where are your GPS and Water Cup Holders mounted up front? 2022 RTL

Am new to the Spyder world.

Have a 2022 RTL.

I don't see many rigs with GPS's or cup holders up front.

Can ya post a picture of where yours is mounted and/or how it is mounted?

I want both a GPS (prob an XT wired thru the Spyder) and a water cup holder.

I am thinking the center of the handlebar for the GPS, but not sure if I want to be looking down all the time. If on the handlebar, then where does cup holder go? Am thinking I want to keep all of it off the right side (throttle side) but am not sure.

Some ideas and your thoughts would be helpful.

TIA.

I have my phone holder mounted on a ram ball mounted to one of my 4 center handle bar bolts. My cup holder is mounted to another ram ball located on a spyder cuff located on the left side. I suggest getting a thermos that fits the holder and is sweat resistant so condensation doesn’t collect and drip on the spyder.

I have my cup holder attached from my left handlebar controls and my GPS mounted on the top of the dash so I don't have to take my eyes off the road ahead to see it

Lamont has these for mounting a ram ball on the left handlebar cuff that you can hang a drink holder on.

FYI, re: mounting the GPS on top of dashboard. I found that at higher speeds, the GPS (or radar detector) causes some extra buffeting due to wind flow disruption. Center of handlebars seems to be the preferred location. Just use a long ram arm to raise the GPS up higher.

I have a Spyder Top Cuff with Drink Holder, from Lamonster and a Tackform phone holder on the left handlebar. I mounted my Garmin Zumo XT on the center handle bar bolts with Lamonster's dual power plate and GPS swivel mount.

I thought I had the picture orientation thing figured out, I guess not. Sorry

My Zumo XT is mounted on right handlebar with the mount that comes with it. I also installed a lock pin. I like it up higher than mounted in centre.

Hi George, What does the cable attached to the top cuff power?

Nice Turn Signal Button!

Oh. Hi TC. I didn't recognize the name at first. Yes, I love the blinker button and the pad on the shifter. This is a 2022 RTL Sea to Sky that I just traded my 2016 RTL in for, a week ago. That USB cable was already on the bike when I got it and I haven't traced the wiring down yet to see exactly how that one's wired. But what I usually use is the USB plug on the left side of the dual power port from Lamonster. The right side has the cigarette lighter plug where I can attach a radar detector, or at home I use it to plug in my battery maintainer.

I'm using the Ram phone mount from Amazon, with the cuff and top tree bracket from Lamonster.

Here is my setup on my 22 RTL. Garmin 590LM (from my previous 2015) secured with Kradlelock, mounted on Slingmods docking station. I also mounted my phone xgrip on the handlebar on the left side and I have my Butler cup on the other side. I prefer using a stand alone GPS. The docking station also has 2 3.0 USB ports and a 12 Volt socket.

I no longer have that setup since I got the bar clamp yesterday where I can mount my phone/GPS in the middle of the bars and not on them. I also have the Hydration bag so no longer need a cup holder on the handlebars.

I have both my bottle holder and my GPS mounted to the Spyder Cuff I picked up from Lamonster Garage. The cup holder was part of the Spyder Cuff and can be mounted to the inside or outside of the handle bars. I have my GPS mounted to the TrackForm mount I picked up from SpyderDave on this forum.
