• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Having trouble getting 2020 RT Rear seat to click in - any fixes?

Has anyone else with a 2020 RTL have trouble getting the rear seat to click into the front clips
Is there a fix for this problem

You can't get the tabs in the slots or you can't get them to "snap" into place? If it's the latter, it SHOULD stay down on it's own. My '21 RT wouldn't snap into place but I never lost it although to be fair, I had a backrest installed.

The problem for me started with the poorly trained mechanics at the dealership not knowing how to open the rear seat.

When I got mine, I noticed the same thing and mentioned it to the service department. They sent a tech outside to check it, he immediately grabbed the rear seat by both front sides and pulled it up rather hard.
I then told him that was not how you were supposed to do it and he said that's the way I was told to do it.

Needless to say that I had a talk with the manager, showed him how it was supposed to be done and then they ordered me a new seat.

It took a couple of months for it to come in but I never had a problem with the old one. In fact, I got to keep the old one for free. I then installed one of Motorcycle Dave's gel inserts into it and have been riding it on the bike ever since.

I'll just keep the new one for a spare, just in case.

If it is not what K80 said you need to check to be sure there are no wires underneath that are keeping it from fully laying down where it should be. I had that problem with mine. Once I moved the wires around for clearance (in fact I sort of rerouted them), mine worked perfectly.

You might also try using a heat gun to soften and bend the tabs forward if moving the wires around won't fix it. Be careful to not get it too hot.

Had the same issue recently. Turn out my connection for the heated seat was in the way. Once I tucked I into the opening on the left by the hand grip the seat latched.
