• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What needs to come off to fit Lamonster belt tensioner?

OK starting this now. Looks like I need to take off all the right side panels including he floorboard and the big black panel at the bottom. Sound correct to you all?

Thanks

All the panels on the side with the belt have to come off. Passenger footrest also. You don't have to remove the floorboard but it makes getting the big panel off/on easier.

Yes that’s the side I meant. LOL sorry and thank you.

I agree with RayBJ. I watched the video on YouTube, explains all panels but big black one. Also, taking off driver and passenger floorboards make it all easier. Big black panel has about 3 screws, one in front of saddle bag, the rest are push pins. Just take your time and watch where things go! Took me about an hour on my 2021 RT Limited! Took all vibration out of belt!
Forgot the little screw that goes up front by the splash guard, a pain, but use a small Phillips to remove.

Dude ... I can’t tell you how long I screwed around with trying to get that one out! Getting the whole panel off, taking my time, took about an hour altogether. That one little screw took 10 minutes it feels like. My eyes aren’t the best so I couldn’t see it was a Phillips head... like WTH is up with that!!???? LOL

I replaced that plastic 'screw' with a sheetrock screw. Un-screws without stripping.

Ray, great idea! It is smaller than the other push pins! I was just going to replace with a push pin, but hole is smaller!
Mike0123, like you, eye site not the greatest, used a regular screw driver to pry up on base so screw would come out! A pain, like stated above, wanted to replace with push pin, Ray’s idea makes sense for next time.
