• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Posting this because others may find my experience useful. I had a minor RPM sensitive whine in my headset. I bought a new helmet and headset because it was time to do that. The whine was unbearable in the new set-up. It is not uncommon to experience that when lights and electronics are added to a bike. So, I installed a Ground Loop Isolator. Easy to do. But the problem persisted. I then went to the battery. Everything looked and felt tight. I did not want to remove the cables completely but I did back the fasteners off a bit and then retightened them. Low and behold, problem solved. ALL the headset noise is now gone. The next time the battery is out, I will follow BK911s advice and install star washers. Thanks, Mike. I may not have looked at those battery terminals if not for your star washer suggestions.....
