HID headlights

Does anyone know what type of headlight bulbs the new RT uses. I recall Lemont saying that the lights could use some help. When I had my K1200LT I installed an HID kit from ddmtuning.com and was very pleased with the results. A lot of these were installed on the BMWs and I never really heard any complaints. The kit is priced right and was very easy to install on the BMW. If it will work out, this will be my first mod when my Rt arrives.

I have the ESI HID headlights and they are awesome!!! :2thumbs: Plus, they are a whole lot less $$$ than the BRP HID lights.

Let me say that Doc's HIDs look awesome. I wasn't sold on HID's until I saw them in person. You can not miss Doc coming down the road at any time of day. Doc- yours are both 8000's right?
