Guzzis are decent bikes. Unfortunately, Moto Guzzi of North America will not give you the level of support that BRP did in the event that something does go wrong. I had issues with the hydraulic lifters in my '03 Stone Touring that took three months for the dealer to repair what was my main form of transport, and that after having to threaten the dealer and MGNA with the Lemon Law in writing. Good luck.

Yes, I am concerned about that, but the dealer is a friend of mine and we have done business for many years. I am confident that if I have a problem and need an advocate, he will be there for me.

I too was happy to meet you at Lamont's BBQ. I was the guy chatting w/ you about Neil Young in the screened in area where the t-shirts and cake were. I have to much money into my Spyder to get rid of it. I know after my extended warranty ends. I don't have the money to keep having it fixed. At the end of the warranty I will stop riding it and just put her up and only take her out for special shows. I will get a RT one of these days.nojoke After BRP and the dealers get on the same page.:roflblack: I'm a big believer in the extended warranty.:thumbup: Bike came with a two year factory warranty, and a four year extended. I'll be tired of this spyder long before 6yrs.:2thumbs:

Thanks Spyder #353. I was fortunate when I bought my Spyder that here in Canada they were offering a three-year warranty, although BRP clawed it back to two years in 2009. That means it still has almost two years left under warranty which I think would be a big selling point. It also made me feel better to know that the new owner will have a good amount of warranty left in case of further issues.

Thanks Terry. Have fun with your Tri-Glide! It looks like a really nice ride, and I can tell you I had very good luck with my 1990 Harley Electra-Glide. It was a very reliable bike. :2thumbs:
