When I learned that the new "up and out" mirror extenders would require surgery to my BRP touring shield, I was disappointed and sought a different solution. I use steerable convex "fisheye" mirrors in my pickup truck, but my Spyder lacked a place to mount one of usable size (IMO) or close enough. I settled on Emgo bar end mirrors and attached 3 inch aimable fisheyes to them. They turned out great. I now have a panorama view behind me. Nobody is in my 6 without me knowing ( or my 5,4,7 or 8). The Emgos are adjustable in 3 different planes and the fisheyes swivel, so I would think this setup could fit anyone. I retain my stock mirrors for normal highway use and to admire my riding gauntlets, lol.
