• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yellow Spyder Fire

Ooooo....that sounds downright DANGEROUS! Definitely stay away from the "Images" option if you try this!

Are you serious? :dontknow:

All jokes aside, if you google "Cornhole" in images or anything else, you will see the game I've been talking about.

Man, you guys all have dirty minds. nojoke

Thanks Tom!

And when you get mad . . . well, you are like a machine gun set to auto-fire going off in the local Library, with a couple of hand-grenades thrown in for punctuation. Yeah, I don't do well in the anger department - I tend to take after my father - well in his younger years. now that he's old he's just cranky and gives up too easily. But I do like your description - fits me pretty good huh? :2thumbs:

Besides being an awesome event, it is frustrating that most of us can just watch and cannot really help you remedy the situation. Nope and I'm not expecting any help except from BRP. Dealer and Kurt called me yesterday - hopefully I'll have more answers end of the week and I'll report back w/ them AND have my Spyder back by this weekend if all goes well.

But that is you. So are the jokes and hilarious stories you share ( I still smile about the frogs on the camping trip, or your comment on a "cute little skull" and Roaddog's gay little trailer ). I only said it was gay because he p*ssed me off - forgot what it was about but he did. And nobody else in the history of the whole world has ever captured a picture of HDXbones on a BMW. There is also a really nice pic of HDX on an icecream trike - I gotta go find that one.

my favorite is when you make ice cream come out of your nose. That was Roaddog's fault - :shemademe_smilie:

You are the whole thing, a real slice of life - don't censor yourself. Thanks, I already do censor myself - if I didn't, I'd be in jail right now. There is no value or solution in that. And, please, don't go over to the Light-side - the world and the Spyder are not all Sunshine & Lollipops. OK, dark side suites me better that's for sure!:2thumbs:

And when you do run low on hope and faith, there are many here who will be glad to share theirs with you. At the very least, I would let you bum a cig. HDX will kill me if I start buying ciggies again. For now it's cigars - daily, I'll quit those down the road but I'm not ready to right now. I AM NOT A QUITTER!:2thumbs:

And the same applies to Mr. K, who started this thread. Yeah, I hope BRP can pin point these fires someday - gotta be hard, what do you look for when everything is all charred up.:dontknow:

Oh c'mon--- lighten up a bit....

The game of 'cornhole' is pretty popular right now - and has been around at least 10 years. The humorous meaning of 'cornhole' has been used far longer in movies and TV.

Beavis & Butthead and Office Space are two references that come to mind - both Mike Judge creations--- so he at least helped make the term popular in a humorous manner.

It's obvious the game was named 'cornhole' in jest about the other meaning. It could have easily been called 'bag-toss' - but that isn't very funny...;)

It's called innuendo and it makes the game that much more fun!

Nothing wrong with drinking some beer and cornholing with friends! :D

A local radio station has a 'Cornhole Challenge' every year around Halloween.

During Halloween many people will 'candy cornhole' :D

Lighten up and laugh a bit - it doesn't cost anything.

I thought that's what I was doing when I posted the videos of Cornhole.

Go back and read the post.

There's a reason I put this up on THIS thread....to lighten up the atmosphere.

Did it work? :dontknow:

Yes, but I do think everybody should watch their back when they are around Firefly.

Somehow we've gone from "Yellow Spyder Fire" to "Corn Hole Captain".

Is that where we get the term "Fire in the Hole"? :dontknow:

BRP has called me Three times. In fact they called once the day after this happened within 24 hours. So to say they are not aware or concerned about matters like this is not true. This is only my opion as we all know one's view can chage with time.

Now depending on what they do with the information that could change my view of what I think about them.

I am impressed with BRP's response. Things have changed a lot since I had my fire. Back then, May 4, 2009, BRP studiously ignored the fire. There was no response whatsoever. I like the "new BRP" much better. This bodes well for the future of the Spyder.

Is there anything you can tell us about the origin of the fire, or the place where it started? Your experience may give us the breakthrough we need to nail down the solution. Did you report the fire to the NHTSA?

I reported in great detail about my very favorable experience with the insurance company (Foremost) if this could be of any help to you.

I hope, 'what happens in Gatlinburg, stays in Gatlinburg'.......

:roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:

In keeping with the current direction this thread has taken, don't tell me you went to Galinburg the "Back Way"! :yikes::yikes::yikes:

Awe. C'mon guys. Cornhole is just an innocent little game about getting a bag of corn in a hole.

I am really not getting all these other unrelated comments.:dontknow: ;)
