• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Connect and Fobo2

Yes. As someone that fights BRPc on a weekly basis, FOBO2 works.

If you don't see it as available apps in BRPc, you need to refresh your application inventory.

In BRPc, click the 3 bars in the upper left (menu) and select "information"
Then select "version"
Where you see "Update app list" you'll see the last time the apps were updated. Tap it to update.
[if it hangs like mine does... it's another BRP software issue. Reload BRPc, unfortunately]

Kissfan, thanks for the info. i tried what you suggested by updating the app list in BRP connect. No Joy. When I click Update App List, the spinny thing in the upper right corner just keeps spinning.

I am BTW, a life long Kiss Fan

Mine does the same. I had to reinstall it to get an update. I’ve had a case open on this with BRP since January.

And we know KISS rules.

Well I reinstalled the App and Fobo2 finally works with BRP Connect. Hopefully the App bugs are worked out and it will stop locking up.

An interesting test might be to manually lower the pressure in a tire to see if a notice pops on the dash replacing another app that is running.
