F3 Brake Pedal Height Adjustment-Higher?

New 2021 F3S. My boot doesn't fit under the brake pedal pad so I'm riding with my right foot further out than I would like, certainly not matching my left foot position.
Is there an aftermarket product/assembly that raises the pedal without moving it out from the position it's in?

I searched the forums and didn't spot anything.
Many here are looking to lower their brake pad, I'm used to lifting my foot and applying the brake.
I see reference to Doc Humphries' F3 Brake Pedal Height BPM.2, but I can't find that. (out of business?)

I simply need to raise the height, any advice or redirection on this would be appreciated.


On a side note I lurked on your forum to learn about the F3 before pulling the plug, good info here.

If you don't have the tools or don't think you can do the job, take it to any welding or machine shop. It is not a big job, even if you have them put an adjuster in the rod.

I bought Lamonsters brake rod that lowers the brake pedal some. I never did measure the length of the 2 brake rods so I don't know if Lamonts is shorter or longer. Am I wrong in my reasoning but I thought you would have to lengthen the brake rod to get it higher. Maybe I'm all wet. I'm sure someone will correct me.

You can drill a hole just behind the original. Don't drill too far back or you may get more height than desired. If so, turn rod around and you can have a second try at it.

You're correct, I just looked at it. The brake rod connects opposite the pedal so shortening the rod lowers the pedal even more.

Yes, you are right. The brake rod on the Spyder needs to be a little longer. It depends on where the brake pedal hinges if it needs to be longer or shorter. Sorry about the misinformation.

Bluetrees, it would be worth having a chat to Lamonster. They did all the measurements when creating their new brake rod to lower the pedal. They should be able to tell you how much higher the pedal would be if you used the next longest rod (both for their rod and the BRP rod.

Drilling a hole behind the stock hole will lower the brake pedal. He needs a longer rod to raise it. I would get the next size up rod and if that's to high, he can drill a hole behind to lower a bit.

The brake lever pivots around the main bearing with the rod on the bottom and the pad at the top. The rod connection point and the pad travel in arcs around the bearing and that is what you are doing with the pad, not raising it per se but rather traveling just a little further along that arc.
I could just disconnect the rod and see if I can rotate (raise) the pad high enough then measure the distance rod needed, not sure if the length is available. We'll see.
Alternately, a longer brake pedal arm is needed possibly by cutting it and extending it by little bit.

I purchased the position 4 brake rod from LaMonsterGarage; however, their rod slightly lowers the pedal. I put custom made floorboards on and the lowered brake pedal is not working for me. So, I also need to know how I can get my pedal back up? Do I need to just purchase the OEM position 4 rod or can I exchange the LaMonsterGarage one for a position 5 rod?

Or is there a way to adjust this rod I have to RAISE the pedal?

I agree it would slightly extend the arc but the degrees of rotation before engaging the brakes would remain the same if the rod hasn't changed length.
