• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 F3L fuel gauge problem

I notice on the last few gas fill ups my digital fuel gauge is 1 bar short of full. Today I made sure the fuel was to bottom of filler neck like it should be. Even tried to added twice more so is full. Miles per tank seem the same as always. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be the sending unit is bad or a digital bar light out.

WOW!! You musta got a good one if it's worked up until now!! nojoke Many do that from the first couple of re-fuel fill-ups!!

But RICZ is right, it's normal and nothing to worry about! The gauges tend to be juuust a little erratic in their readings; the 'low fuel' warning lights too, altho possibly not quite so much.... so one way or another you'll probably just end up doing what the rest of us do, which is re-set a trip meter every time we gas up & then ride aware of how many miles we travel before needing to fill-up next! cheers:

The fuel gauge readout can be calibrated in BUDS. Have your dealer re calibrate the gauge. Mine reads full when I fill up and when the gas light comes on (last bar) it takes 5.5 gal to fill. But it was not that close as delivered. This does not require a megatech version of BUDS, just the dealer licence.
