• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For me :roflblack:

Over the Memorial day weekend I went for a straight 2.5 hour ride, that's a long time for a dog! :2thumbs:

Bike is almost 4 years old, 11,000 miles and for some reason still like running it around town. :D

Congrats. ..

considering the mileage you have that is a long ryde...now that is a gas stop for many so now you need to venture further...:roflblack:

So the bike is now 7 years old and just passed 18,000 miles

Can’t believe I still love running it around town, usually get bored with things quick.

Let’s see if I can make it to 10 years. :riding:

(This site still needs some better smilies lol )

I've taken my ST for a 3+hr ride and have been amazed with how little pain I felt in the rump and back areas. :riding:
If I went that long on my BMW F800ST, I'd be dying to get off it. :yikes:

I realize that post is over three years old, but you would not have survived our last vacation (a couple of weeks ago). We took it VERY easy this time around. Just six days, only two of them were (barely) over 300 miles. About 1600 miles, total. Lots of "stopping to smell the roses" and sight-seeing, visiting with friends, etc. 2.5 hours is barely enough to go through one tank of gas.

.

Wow, no way. Bike gets uncomfortable usually after about 2 hours for me. But with that said...maybe it’s different on the interstate if there were less traffic. Lots of stop and go around town.

 You guy's are a bunch of wild men, acting like a bunch of teenagers, 2-300 miles a day, makes me tied, I need a nap!!:roflblack:

I can tolerate about 1 hour without stopping. My outer cheeks don't get enough support on the stock seat, plus I feel like pulling my pants down and hosing my arse off with a garden hose, though this is not socially acceptable behavior in most circles. Just added a CalSci windscreen, eyeballing Russell Day-Long or maybe I will wait until I get a new/newer RT!

Ya, I've been thinking about getting a sheepskin for mine, lot of people say that it makes a world of difference!:dontknow:

I can match that, 2015 F3's bought new, 5 yrs & 8,000 miles. Normal trip to store = 4 mi one way==several hundred/thousand times. 118 mph top speed before Stage 2 upgrade. I think a 2 hr ride was my max. Spyder has never seen the dealer since purchase. Just replaced front tires for fun. Never aligned. No problems :-)

Yeah sounds a lot like me. I did my own alignment when I bought the bike and still have original front tires that still look awesome.
