I'm always very careful
NOT to ask the Doc's how long before I can drive/ride again - if I do, they'll give me a specific & purely arbitrary time :banghead: But if I don't ask, then I can simply start doing things again when I feel up to it.... which is sometimes sooner than others might think is OK, sometimes later....

And if I ever have an accident (haven't yet tho, touch wood!

) I can truthfully say that no-one told me not to!

hyea:
Orright, I will admit, it's usually sooner....

But in my defence, I do tend to work hard at the rehab & generally heal/recover better & far quicker'n most.... Besides, even the Doc's usually agree that I was well & truly up to it when they eventually find out what I've been up to after the fact.... altho I hafta say that when I mentioned the parachuting, he
did suddenly go a juuust a lottle pale?!? :dontknow:  :roflblack:
That aside, Peter, glad to hear you're back on your feet, & here's hoping the healing/recovery process goes well! Sorry 'bout the ryding hiatus, but no matter how much they seem to drag on, those 6 weeks really won't be all that long in the overall scheme of things before you're able to get back out there & ryding again!

hyea: And don't forget that checking in on the Forum frequently is a great way to vicariously feed your ryding habit/get a fix until you can fully satiate those cravings in real life!
Stay healthy, heal quickly, and you'll get your knees back in the breeze sooner than you can..... errr, I dunno, eat an ephalump maybe?! :dontknow:
