• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Awesome History of Can Am and a nice Ryker Review mixed in

That one has been posted here, but no problem. Many have not seen it. My comment the last time...seems to not be to enthralled with the company.

I don't know that I would say he is not enthralled with the company. I think he is simply, and accurately, pointing out the foibles and idiosyncrasies of Can-Am, BRP. He acknowledges the mistakes as well as the successes. Overall, a very well done piece. I had their 1975 Can-Am MX 250. That thing was FAST! It had more power than motors twice their size. He is also very accurate when he says the put all their time, money and energy into power, sacrificing suspension. Very True! And the ultimate reason for failure. Power does you no good when you're laying in a ditch.

I knew most of this. Still, it was a nice ride down memory lane. And I did not know that Ski-Doo came from a sloppy advertising typo and it should have been Ski-Dog! Amazing! How could no one have caught that one!? Though I really like Ski-Doo better than Ski-Dog! After all, the theme of the ad campaign was 'Just Doo It'!
