• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drivers backrest wobble

I have the BRP comfort seat with the BRP comfort drivers backrest. I removed the seat and backrest to install heater pads and gel. When I reassembled the seat and backrest I seem to have a little "more" wobble side to side in the backrest. I think I never really noticed it before. I am considering stuffing some extra foam down the sides of the rails to stop the wobble. Is there a better way to reduce the side to side wobble? Its not bad but I'd like to stiffen it up a bit. Does your BRP backrest have a little side to side wobble?

Although I have a backrest from another manufacturer ( Utopia ) you should understand that anything that's easily re-moved is going to have " clearances " in the joining parts, that are going to allow movement. Some more, some less . But there will be movement ……. Mike :ohyea:

Just on the off chance Wmoater, have you made sure that your backrest has been fully pushed down into & fully engaged with the mounting bracket?? :dontknow: One of the local guys here had a wobbly backrest, pretty much as you describe it, and it was only on raising the seat & checking where the prongs engage with the bracket that we realised it hadn't been fully pushed down/in!

Back Rest

I checked my BRP Seat/BRP Backrest and have little to no play.
As others have said, check if everything has been installed correctly.
Good luck on your Mission.....
