• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

want to put an Akrapovic on my 2019 f3 limited black . any one have found or constructed a carbon fiber heat shield , or any ideas on how to keep the black look .

is there a carbon fiber wrap that can stand the heat ? any input would be great. or do they make an Akrapovic in Carbon fiber for the ltd . I know the have one for
the f3 3 , could just paint it HI heat black , thoughts.

Thanks

Doubtful you will find a wrap capable of repeated high temps.

If you replicate the oem item in carbon, choose wisely on the resin system, most will show yellowing at temps above 180f.

I have a RLS Exaust. Ricky sprays a coating that drops the temp by 400 degrees. He can even spray the Cat delete. Not as pricy as a akrapovic either. Also the best sounding Exaust out there IMHO.

How do you like it , sound , did you leave baffled in ?

I like it. I found it online at a Can Am dealer that had a few that he was selling at 1/2 price. It was new in the box, yet it came without the baffles. I also have the RLS cat delete, and together I think it sounds pretty good. Louder than stock, but no annoying drone when cruising at highway speeds. I ran it without the cat delete for a few thousand miles, and honestly, adding the RLS cat delete without it's baffle, did not increased the volume all that much.
