Went for a group ride with 20 other bikes sponsored by the local dealer this past Sunday mid-day and the outside temperature as measured by my Spyder RT Limited dash gauge peaked at 117 degrees F at 2PM. If you ride in the heat, drink lots of water before, during, and after the trip to stay hydrated and focused. Much prefer riding with outside temperatures between 40 and 80 degrees F.
Was going to take the Spyder out for a run this morning. Feels like temp is 107.3. I think I will wait till it cools down a bit (good luck).:banghead:

Personally, I think anything below 72 degrees F. is unfit for human habitation.![]()
I'm tend to believe the opposite. I think any temperature much above 72 degrees is detrimental to human habitation, rational thought and retention of precious bodily fluids (with apologies to Gen. "Bat" Guano). I don't recall hearing of any people suffering from temperate climate stroke.![]()
