• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Deadwood 3 wheel rally 2019

I was there for 2018 and one of the features I really liked was that all the rides were self guided and you go as fast or slow as you wanted and stop when you felt like it. I did do the "Ride with a Local" ride and that was fun. We learned a few this we likely would not have known. This is an idea I think other rallies/Ride ins/meet and greets could use.

That's the format Ryde-In events will follow.

My wife & I are planning to attend!
We did Sturgis a couple years ago but as it was 1 of many destinations on that trip we didn't get much riding done in the Black Hills.
Look forward to seeing the sites and meeting some of the SpyderLovers Family!

I will be coming from Ky. I have registered but have not booked a room yet. Planning on heading out to Billings. If you are passing through or close to Ky. give me a shout and we can meet up some where close. Thanks

We will be out there, renting a house in Rapid City, Sunday Night through Thursday morning.
We will not be Vendors there, but hopefully get to see everyone around the area.

If there is interest we can set up a dinner meet and greet in Rapid City on Wednesday Evening.

Just got registered today. We are starting our journey early and riding across to Colorado, then up to Wyoming to Yellowstone then across to Deadwood.

My wife and I are just happen to be staying at the Bullock Hotel in Deadwood 7-11 July. Is this event going to be held on Main St by the hotel do you think? My wife is not really ambulatory, so walking is a bit of a problem for her.

We will be there! Stop by the fairgrounds and say hi! The area is just beautiful, and we love to go. See you there!! Joe

Headed due south...9-1/2 hrs seat time...makes for a loooong day

US 85 has a lot of semi traffic to and from the oil fields in North Dakota. SD 79 has less traffic and is a nice drive through Custer National Forest. Make sure you top off on fuel, towns in Northwest South Dakota are pretty spread out until you get to Newell on 79, or between Buffalo and Belle Fourche on 85.

Thanks....we have been to Sturgis too many times lol, so we know the miles and miles of nothing...we gave up summer in the Hills and started going after Labor Day, much quieter but still surprising amount of bikes. Last few trips have been two day trips with a sleep over at Bowman ND. Nice motel with a pool and a six pack, great way to end the day....I lived on the edge of the Baken oil field so ya we have seen the booms and busts and the semis and the drugs and everything in between.....look for a red/black `15 with Canada flag on glove box...that will be us.

If anyone does take 85 down from up north might want to cut across on 168. There is road construction for about 12 miles south of that. Remilling the road so it is pretty grooved up, as of last week anyway.
I only have Thursday and the weekend off as of now but plan on coming down on the evenings.
