• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Honoring the Orginals

I originally bought my Rally with the "free" yellow panels (see avatar). I thought the black with yellow looked good -- still do. But then I read somewhere that the White Heritage panels were in honor of the original Can Am's. I owned one of the originals, a '74 125 TNT, first one sold in Tulsa, OK. That was one of the top 2 or 3 best bikes of the 32 I've owned! Fantastic bike. So I looked at the White Heritage panels a little closer and noticed they ARE the same color scheme as on my '74 just without the lettering. So … I purchased a set and my daughter-in-law made some stencils and now I think it really honors the original.

Poli, when I first saw the Heritage panels I thought like Aufgeblassen47 that they were too busy. However, now that I am educated to what the "heritage" was, and with the stencils your DIL made, I have changed my mind; that looks pretty cool. I guess I will be baking a crow pie for dinner tonight!

Well done...looks just like the originals and we had many in south america on the motocross circut. We had a lot of other makes and models you don't see anymore... congrats your daughter did a great job....

I think it looks great! In my humble opinion the Ryker is overly monochromatic and your mod adds an excellent splash of color, not to mention an homage to retro styling. Well done, says he.!
