There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why? I am half a world away and have found it both interesting and heartening reading not just your trials and tribulations of becoming unemployed then trying to find a new job but how much support you have received from forum members/friends. I have not commented as I am new to the forum and didn't want to risk sounding insincere as I do not know you personally. Keep it going and good luck finding the right job!

Yeah Deanna I only meant that I hoped you got to close it because you got a job, I should have quoted you in my response.
We are all pulling for you, I love this thread from the standpoint that I think it has brought out the best from everyone for 13 pages now, I still hope it closes because you got a job but it’s a thread I’ve enjoyed reading. I’d be glad to do the honors and close it when the time comes.
