• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NASCAR and Jayski

For years I have followed Jayski.com for up to date NASCAR news. Well, I read where he and his crew will no longer be providing updates after 22 years. I'm sorry.......NASCAR without Jayski is like the spyder world without Lamonster. It just ain't right.

Have you found an alternate source for the information yet? :dontknow:

The single constant in all of our lives is change...

Doesn't that seem a little bit ironic?

:agree: I personally think that a nine Month long racing Season is about three Months too short!

Unless they come up with some more things to provide some variety, I think it is about right.

We certainly do NOT need any more mile and a half ovals where everybody spreads out and just runs around and around......and there is little or no real "racing".
And where the most excitement in the whole race might be a loose lug nut after a pit stop.

I attend a lot of races in person......with my Spyder......but am reducing my schedule by about 30% this year.
Down to 9 or 10 weekends.

Sad News....

Always sad for things to come to an end. I myself am down to the Isle of Mann all catagories.... :2thumbs:

Why don't they add some Figure-eight tracks, and perhaps a Demolition Derby; to crown the champion in Homestead? :joke:

Well that's carrying it a bit far. ;)

The "roval" experiment in Charlotte was a success......so I wonder if they are considering doing that at Daytona too for the summer race.

The "championship" races at Homestead last year were really boring and uneventful, mostly.
I may not go back this year.

But I DO enjoy riding the Spyder around the area for a few days before the races.
It's a tough call.

Now that I have a different set of channels...we can once again watch the NASCAR races.

We stopped watching all pro football a year ago...and the ban still stands at our home.

I never said that it was... it was just the best example of what I was trying to show: even open cockpit AND motorcycle racers aren't afraid of getting wet!
