• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BPR Touring Windshield

I'm sure it moves some but not so much that I notice it and I end up focusing on it. IMO, anytime you get a larger windshield, there will be some movement or vibration while riding at higher speeds.

On my way home tonight, I paid close attention to the Madstad windshield on the RoboBrackets and there was no extra movement or vibration to speak of. Naturally, when you get something 25" away from the pod / console it's mounted on, any vibrations in the pod seem amplified out on the end but the mount itself is solid and with the bracket arms tightened, the windshield doesn't vibrate any more than I would expect. It's no different than any of the F1 windshields or the CalSci I had that were mounted directly to the console.

CHAD

I noticed on the ESI web site that the CHAD was available in "Black & Clear". What does that look like?--Guess I haven't seen that. I also was wondering (since the chad is Lexan) if anyone has had a problem with clouding. :dontknow:Would appreciate your opinions.

My CHAD was one of the first out last year. No problems. And, I feel a little more secure that a rock won't crack it into multiple sharp pieces.
