I applaud your workmanship, I've made a few myself, but they wouldn't compete with your workmanship … You state " 1/4 inch ", I don't understand how you came up with that thickness as being necessary ….. The MAX you are told by BRP is a load of 400lbs.....it would be one thing if your trailer didn't have wheels and you were dragging it with the frame on the ground...… but with it rolling on wheels, it doesn't take much force to move a 400lb. load...… as an example :When I was 67 I was able to move my snow-mobile trailer with two machines on it. Total weight of that was 1600 to 1700 lbs.... I'm no Charles Atlas, kinda ordinary strength - wise, but I could maneuver it without much difficulty...….. Yours is beautiful tho ……. Mike :thumbup:

That is the best looking trailer hitch I've see for the F3. You did a great job on it. Have you come up with a wiring harness yet that will not mess with the F3 electronics?

Update on my homemade trailer hitch, just got back from deadwood three wheeler rally (1900 mile round trip) and it's holding up good. Estimate about 5000 miles total pulling trailer that my wife likes to load up real good. Have since relocated the license plate to rear fender because the tire keep hitting it when I had it mounted directly under the tail light.
