• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When we traded our 2014 RLT in for a 2018 F3L there was art work done on the RT that we did not want to go with the RT, but what to do with it?

Lid painted by Sue Hopper. Windscreen done by Sarah (Spyderpop - Harvey's daughter). Hard to see the engraving on the shield even after I painted the backside black. It is the same dragon as on the lid.

My wife said "lets hang on the basement wall" So we did!

Awesome! I was wondering what you were going to do. Debora has her Frunk lid on the garage wall. Great idea.

I think there's a red RT missing its hood..?

Kind of cool to see. Great idea without doubt.

Around here it would not work though. If I had a basement, most likely nature would supply me with an indoor swimming pool.

What a good idea! It's like a Spyder shrine . .

For those wondering about the hoodless RT . . . when you trade in a Spyder with art work on it, the dealer has to replace those parts anyway. It shouldn't make a difference in the trade value, though your mileage may vary.

Hi Patti,

I think that depends on the dealer as my dealer has sold other Spyders with art work on them, but since years ago I paid an artist to create this dragon I will not let another have it. I did pay for a new lid to be placed on the RT. I did the same for my Harley tank that I have the dragon on (that tank is hanging on my garage wall).

It's up to the Dealership: my old 2010 was traded-in and re-sold with Pete's vinyl graphics package still intact. The new owner named the bike exactly as I had: "Fawkes".
