There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Where's my 50 lbs?

Don'tPanic

I have 2015 F3-S, dry weight is 850 lbs.
Starting 2016 or 2017 dry weight of F3-S increased to 900 lbs.

Does anyone know why the weight difference? :dontknow:

Thanks

Something keeping the belt from vibrating :dontknow::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::shocked:

I don't know either, but I do remember the statistic that women who put on a few pounds as they get older, live much longer than men that mention it!!!!!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

C'mon, people, can you take anything seriously? :gaah:

Go on then, I'll give you a serious answer.

I think the answer is that the 850lbs was wrong and they corrected it to the correct weight. Mine was manufactured in July 2014 (so it's one of the original production run) and the unladen weight on my certificate of conformity is 408KG, which = 897lbs.

So the 50lbs was always there.

I agree- So that means the 900Ryker will be 280 Pounds Lighter and easier to move around! Question? With CVT and No Neutral will you be able to push around??? Or is it not in gear until push the throttle?:dontknow:

Yes, because the belt doesn't engage on the primary drive clutch until a certain RPM is reached. Of course the parking brake or park(not sure which it has) must be disengaged.

Just like their ATVs. I wonder if any of the aftermarket primary and secondary clutches for the CVT will work on the Ryker. I had a QSC primary and STM secondary on my XMR 1000. Huge improvement over the stock clutches. If not, it won’t take long for the aftermarket to start offering them I’m sure!

Is your dry weight out of the operator's guide or did you weigh it as dry as you could get it? If the former, I believe monkeyboymorton has it correct. When I read my operator's guide for my first year 1330 ACE engine RT-S I was amazed at some of the errors in it which were obvious copying from the previous MY.

Interesting, I'd never have thought about tuning the CVT (I've never owned an ATV). Just read an article all about the clutches and the springs inside them so thanks for the prompt.

Out of the owner's manual

Thank you for your replies!

The difference could be because they originally posted the dry weight and the later figure could be curb weight, ready to ride. That would be about 50 lbs or so.
