Agree, gave up posting for a while. Recall reading a recent post stating they were going to stay on top of this site more to prevent the silliness. Guess that did not happen. So tired of the entire masses being deleted for the sake of a few persons posts. This makes posting simply a true waste of time and why even bother posting anymore only to spend the time and see it wiped away. Sad, very, very sad.

The thread was locked so no more posts can be added. Not deleted. I don't think there have very many threads deleted by the moderator. If any.

Yup...a big difference between threads being locked and totally deleted.

Unfortunately, of late, there have been a lot of poisonous attacks on members. And even by those who should know better.

Just a reminder (even though it does not work most of the time), to keep it interesting, but keep it civil.

I want to see the site continue. I like the banter, even though I sometimes disagree with it.

And...I am riding more and posting way less. And...it has been another rainy and cold summer. We have so far had just one week of sunny and 70 degrees. Period. :yes::yes:

You thought wrong. By most measures our public school system in most jurisdictions is second rate at best. It does turn out some great athletes, though, gotta admit.

Been teaching at the local college for eighteen years now. Have seen a noticeable decline in the "quality" of the students over the years. A LOT of them have a problem doing simple math and communicating in English. And...I am talking about the ones who were born in the US.

When they tell me to start making the course easier, or giving people a pass--I will quit first.
