rapid blink turn signals

I have a 2012 RTL. I just have mounted a trailer on it ,an early 90's Hannigan Europa. Now when I activate the turn signals they have a rapid blink. What do I need to do to get them to blink normally? Although I have not looked I don't believe it has led lights on it.

Paul, the obvious question first; does your bike wiring harness have the isolator module, so you're not putting a direct load on the bike's turn signal circuits?

The trailer harness you have installed in your Spyder is not power isolated. The best solution would be to install a proper harness. You may be able to get away with it by replacing all the incondecent bulbs in the trailer with leds.
