• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New F3 fuel cap in the works from Lamonster Garage

Can the Lamonster Garage share with us what they have been doing to the original caps to make them work better?

Sounds like James needs to share what he's doing because everything I've done doesn't last that long. :dontknow:

The one thing I dislike about the factory setup is having to remove the key, insert the key, unlock the lid, lock the lid remove the key, insert the key... I did not have to deal with that on my ST with a gas door. If I pull in listening to some good tunes, they will be interrupted by the whole thing. Also the key insertion requires just the right angle or it will not go in. Just pulling in and unscrewing the cap like every other motorcycle on the planet is very attractive to me.
THIS! Ive been complaining about the Spyder ergos for a while now. They feel the need to overcomplicate all the switchgear, the gas cap, the frunk. Trying to be too original can backfire. Would it kill them to simplify the user experience?
We will be all in for one of these caps asap. Any ETA on these?

I don't know if I would like a keyless fuel cap.
When I travel I like the idea of locking down anything that a lowlife might damage/steal.
Its interesting and I'll keep an eye on the reviews though....I am tired of constantly lubing my fuel cap.

We're in the final testing stage of the new keyless fuel cap. Many of us have trouble closing our cap after fueling and this is our solution. This will come unfinshed, all black and black with accent cut like our IPS products. I posted this on Facebook and had great response but I forgot to post it here. So what do you guys think? :doorag:

I have a run going to the anodizer this week. Should have them in hand very soon.

So will the whole knurled top part twist off? Or is there a smaller twist lever to release the cap inside the top of it... Cant tell from the pic.
