• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Toy Hauler

My toy hauler is a 2008 Jayco Seneca. I like it because it has a true lift gate. Most toy haulers now have a ramp.

Just wondering, since you live in Arizona did you have to get special dispensation to own a King Ranch version Ford? Not that the folks at the King ranch would miss one truck. ;)

The leather seats are from cattle raised on the King Ranch. Really good thick quality. Well so far so good--the dogs have not chewed it up yet.

Back when we had our toy hauler we lived full-time in it when I was working as a contractor mostly on the road. We didn't have any motorcycles then but the garage with my workbench and tools kept me happy.

Yup!
31 feet long... the Class A model is about 8 feet longer, a couple of inches wider, and about two feet taller!

Funny how this works Bob, but you will be looking for a bigger one in a year or two. I have had 7

motorhomes and this will be my third travel trailer Toy Hauler. I always started small and kept inching up.

I wanted the Thor Outlaw but could not fit it in my hanger which is a must for me for storage. I like what

you've got.

I'm actually kinda , sorta, maybe... looking at the Class A version right now... :opps:
My reasons:
The garage is a foot longer, and it has a REAL bedroom for me and the Missus.
Right now: we use the convertible couch up front...

I just don't think that I could drive a Beast of that size!!

Three of my 7 motorhomes were very large diesel pushers Bob. You would be amazed at how easy they are to drive. Camille drove half the time and did very well I might add. But then again she is no ordinary woman if I might say so. ;)

Felt I was not getting enough use out of the motorhomes to justify the cost and depreciation. Decided to put most of my money in the truck rather than the trailer which was half the cost of the truck. At least I can use the truck daily and not fret over the infrequent use of the trailer.

Mine has that feature but do not know if I will use it. It does add weight to the ramp door and makes it harder to lift and close up. With a 22' truck, a 36" Toy Hauler and 8 1/2 foot ramp in a pull through I would be 66 1/2 feet long. Most pull through's are shorter than that. I always request that so I do not have to unhook.

Will post some pictures late next week.

Jack,

Sounds like a great purchase, but your math is a little off.:D
