• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Honda 80's retro bike

1985 Honda Sabre 1100

I rode one of these in 1985. AWESOME! Most powerful bike I had ever ridden, up to that time. Imagine if Honda 'updated' this monster!

The Sabres flew! :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
But the Magnas would just JUMP!! :yikes:
I've never had any other bike pull the front wheel up so violently....nojoke

:shocked: It IS a bit on the tiny side...
Is that a "Single-cammer"?
(Can't see the top of the engine well enough to tell... :banghead:)

Makes my old '76 CB 750 SS look dinky.

Sorry the pic is so small.

I remember when those first came out. I am thinking 1968 or so. They were the "big" bike (not counting HD 1200's). They were inline 4 vs. 2 v cylinders. I cut my teeth on the little stuff at first. I was driving a Honda 305 Dream in those days. I remember my first look and I thought--that thing is really big. I gradually worked my way "up." I eventually bought a new 76 Hondamatic.

Honda is coming out with a new 'Super Naked'. 140 ponies :doorag: This puppy is high on my list for my next bike.
