• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone used Ride On?

I know they are sponsors of the site but has anyone used Ride On?

Its sounds great but I remember similar products being destructive to wheels and sometimes dangerous.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, I presume there would be no problem using this product if my tires are filled with nitrogen.

Thanks.

I've got it in my tires.
Mostly preventative for flats.
The only thing I noticed over the winter was when I couldn't ride for a couple weeks I would get vibration from the front wheels for the first mile or two untill the stuff redistributes.
I've had no issues this summer. It's very smooth on the interstate.

It's been in both mine and my wife's Spyders for probably 8 - 10,000 miles of riding this year. No complaints.

Lots here use it. Good stuff! Do a search for "ride-on" and you'll get a long list of threads on the subject. Just added it to my motorcycle tires as well, and it is now smooth as glass...plus I don't worry about having yet another tire go down. Don't forget to use the "secret" promotional code for 10% off.

I use it mostly because I like not having any wheel weights on my wheels. There is no ill effect on your wheels.

I spoke with Harry at Ride-on, they're out of stock, so i gave him my contact info and he'll call within the next week or so when they get it in.

Want it in before the ride to Gatlinburg. :2thumbs:

You end up letting all that Nitrogen out in order to put the Ride-on in.
But then N is all hype {IMHO} anyway so don't worry about it.

I have not experienced any air pressure bleed down for the last year it's been in my tires. Every time I check it, I scratch my head in wonder.

It does smooth out the ride and well worth the extra benefit of flat resistance.

I spoke with someone 2 weeks ago and they were out then too...must have a problem with production right now...eagerly awaiting to get the stuff!

They told me it was a supply problem with containers, that's why only the bulk stuff is available right now. Awaiting delivery of bottles.

We've got it. 13,000 plus miles with no problems. Even able to scoop out and put in the new back tire we purchased while traveling.:2thumbs:

We have the max for each tire...11 oz. front, 13 oz. rear. Use the auto formula because of tire design. Kjen's 13,000 miles was in reference to the journey. We have had the Ride-On for about over 20,000 miles. It's a safe product. Lamonster has been using it in his Spyder for a lot more miles than us. If nothing else, peace of mind of not having normal flats on the road.

I got the nitrogen for free but I have heard mixed stories and have never read anything definitive either way.

Did I read correctly that you use the auto formula in the Spyder? It appears to be in stock. And Dudley uses about 35 oz. total. Correct?

That is correct for our use.

I took note and I am planning on ordering:thumbup:

We have it in both the Spyder and the Victory Vision tires. The Vision tires were just replaced. When the tires were taken off my husband expected to see a mess on the inside, but all of the Ride On was on the inside-center of the tires...there was nothing on the wheels. The dealer was so impressed with it that he is considering carrying this product.

For the Spyder we used the Auto formula. When you order from the factory they can tell you how much to order...or you can get that info off their website.
