Yesterday, my daughter and I spent the morning in Boerne, TX looking for lodging during the Spyders in the Hills Rally on October 19 - 21.

We visited the beautiful Kendall Inn -- It was full.

Visited the Chamber of Commerce and found a "stuffy" lady who wanted to push us out the door. She asked us why we were looking for lodging so she would know which event is coming to town.
So...I told her, "Spyders." She had this strange look on her face indicating she saw no future for "Spiders." So..to help her out, I said, "Big Ones!!" and left her wondering.

The Visitor's Center was very helpful.

What we found is at "Top of the Hill RV/Cabin Resort" in Welfare, Tx --about 15 minutes away alongside IH-10.

My wife thing we are going to camp in a tent! What we are really doing is staying in a very nice cabin named, "The Yellow Rose of Texas."

y wife and I just got back from the Norcal Spyder rally. We were staying at an RV park thirty minutes away from the venue. We found that we missed out on a lot of things by being so far away. From now on, the closer the better is my motto.
