Hyper flash with trailer

2016 RTS, .......So I have hyper flash with my trailer hooked up...not surprised. Question is, if I do the routine to get rid of hyper flash while the trailer is hooked up, will it return after I unhook the trailer, and then hook it up later on? Will the computer"hold" that flash pattern after I reset it once? I finished up all new LED lights on the trailer tonight, then had to leave. Just curious if anyone else has had the issue...

Hyper flash remedy has "held" for our trailer no worries - even when trailer dis/reconnected. Should be fine.

Here's a plan why don't you unhook the trailer and see what it does.

I could be wrong, but I think the hyper flash will return when you disconnect the trailer, and disappear when you reconnect the trailer. I say this because yesterday while working on my byke I noticed the hyper flash, and my LED flag not working. I found a loose wire, fixed the problem, and the hyper flash went away. The fix is set up for the configuration of lights/LED's on the bike.

The reason for hyper flash when the trailer is hooked up is that you used a trailer wiring harness on your Spyder that is not isolated. Take out whatever harness you installed and install a properly isolated trailer harness.
