• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bestem Frunk Liner

I wouldn't call it a frunk liner. It looks more to me like a soft sided bag, sort of like the one Hopnel makes. Of course one could leave it in the frunk all the time to collect "stuff," but it's nothing like the fitted liner that comes standard in the RT-S and RT-L models.

Very nice...

For the price and discription you can't go wrong. Leave it in as a liner with the advantage of being able to pull it out and carry it with you. Most lid liners are more expensive. If you get it let us know with a quick review...

I bought that same liner a few months ago -- can't go wrong with the price. For a soft sided bag it's well constructed.

We've used it once so far, but our packing method made the bag more trouble than it was worth. The frunk is where we do all our "throw it in quick" and "clothing layers in, then out" But, we'll hang on to it for now. Just in case.

I carry my clothing in my Hopnel frunk bag and roll it seabag style. That gives me selection options without having to dig around. Rain gear goes in right saddlebag.

We have that very bag....

Bestem makes what they call Can-Am Spyder RT RS Front Trunk Liner. Has anyone used one of these? I can't fine much detail and I assume it will fit in any year RT? The web site is http://www.bestemusa.com/CAN-AM_c_1766.html. Thanks.

... and use it with our 2010 RT. We also bought Hopnel side luggage and rear trunk bags. They are very strong quality. The frunk bag is lined with a satin-like material. We also use the compression bags that I read about on this site... and we can pack a lot of clothing into that frunk bag. We have had good success with several overnight and extended trips. :2thumbs:

Bestem

I have this bag and don't care for it much. It is much shorter than the frunk. If you have stuff to put in the bottom then great. I bought a 6 pack stiff sided cooler that fits underneath. Sort of defeats the purpose of having the bag. The Hopnel bag is full depth and holds more. The Bestem looks good on paper and might be great in a different Spyder but not the 2015 RT.

Maybe there's a reason they made it short? Like so someone can still keep some important to them things in there like a toolkit?

Frunk Bag For Sale

I have a Hopnel HCFL Frunk Liner
For sale. $15.00

The Hopnel worked great to carry my camping gear (sleeping bag and tent).
It fits the full height of the frunk.
When I pack conservatively I can carry my rain gear at the top of the frunk liner.

I was gifted a BRP wheeled travel bag for the frunk so the Hopnel is up for sale.

Cheers, David C. :)

I bought a Hopnel and it works great. Fits really well , and easy to take out and in to the hotel. For the price you can't go wrong
