• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

some times I loose power and I get a back fire I have 2.600 km I changed the spark plugs but same thing does anyone have a idea what this could be

Welcome. ..to the 🎪

Wow...many things to check if as you say it is a 2012 with 2,600k's. You did the plugs but you also need to check the wires and ghe coils. Then fuel filter, air cleaner and vaccum hoses. Bad gas or dirty injectors. If you have not done so get some fresh gas and add injector cleaner. Also check for codes that can help get closer to the problem...

Either you have a valve hanging open or your ECU is failing.

WOW. That's a pretty specific diagnosis.......based only on a guess.

This could be caused by a LOT of things.

And like all troubleshooting, you should check the easy, simple and cheap possible causes first.
Like a loose battery cable for instance.
Then the suggested fresh gas, along with some fuel system cleaner maybe.

Personally I'm not mechanically inclined. I guess if you trust your dealer you go ahead and get the required repair done.
If you don't trust the dealer then it's a matter of getting a second opinion.
There seem to be a lot of Can Am dealers close to Montreal.

I'm fortunate to have a dealer close to home that I trust.

Let us know how you make out.

regards
Greg
