• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Try Motorsports INC., in Hanover PA.. If not, make the trip up to RNET here on the board. His son sells and installs tires for the Spyder. Tom :spyder:

Try Hollingers below Epharta on 272,I have had work done there with no problems

Yeah, they don't do anything other than the BRP recommended tires
Me thinks that BRP is putting "the hammer down" on their shops. This is the company "line" from all authorized BRP shops within 90 minutes of me. Flatout Powersports used to put on car tires; but not now. Sooooo, something/someone has recently changed their mind. All shops are quoting the liability issue. I either drive 2+hours to get 'er done by a dealer, or 10 minutes to an independent motorcycle shop.

Thanks Dave,I guess I won't get a tire there when I need one

Hi Guys. Small world. Octorara Class of '71 here.

Anyway, You won't find a regular Can Am dealer who would SELL you a car tire. If you buy your own tire on-line, you may still find a dealer who will install one for you. They'll just charge you the normal hourly rate. You might find that some of these dealers, who also do the ROLO laser alignments, may be a little more flexible when it comes to installing car tires. And you could also get an alignment. After all, the Kenda IS a car tire - physically. It just has that funky warning on the sidewall that people misinterpret as being a special motorcycle tire, or that the Spyder requires one. It's not and it doesn't. It simply has a Load Index Rating that is too low for use on a car. Call around first and don't make a big deal abut "car" tire. Just say you want to supply your own tire.

There's a Sports N Turf in Lancaster that might help. Closer than Hanover.

Lastly, if you want to tackle the job of removing the wheel yourself, then an independent motorcycle / ATV shop could change out your tire if they had the right machine. My local one here can do it without me even having to disassemble the center hub. 20 bucks. Good luck with it.
