What a day I had yesterday!!!
I have no motorcycle background. Bought my first bike/SE5 yellow spyder on June 12th. I crammed for the test all weekend. Took the written test on the 17th, and passed, and got my permit.
My husband and I would go down to the High School parking lot every weekend. We set-up the cones and rode the practise courses in the spyder manual. Our rides together took us to a farther distance each time.
July 21st, I was bummed out, it rained all day and the pavement never dried out for me to take my road test.
July 28th, finally no rain for that morning. I went to take my road test. I was the only one there taking the test. My husband came to watch. I passed with flying colors! What a relief that was for me. I then went to the DMV and got my License (got a M endorsement). While there I found out my new custom plates came in. Couldn't of come in on a better day. My plates will now say "BMBULB".
hyea:
Maybe one day the MSF will establish a safety course for the spyder, and possibly work with state police agencies to standardize a Licensing course.
