• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Songs that are best for riding

Anything by Pink Floyd, Metallica, Evanescence, Def Lepard......are you seeing a classic rock pattern? Lol...

And the list goes on and on, !

JonYiong Most, if not all of the suggested songs, any many, many more that you like can be converted from Youtube video's to audio only MP3's on your computer that you can arrange and load on your Ipod.

AND if you go to Amazon music, you can find millions of playlists, even sort by Genre (Like classic Rock) then along the left hand column, you can drill down to Moods and Activities, and find even more detailed lists like
Happy & Upbeat (40) or Energetic & Fast Tempo (22) or Hard & Heavy (20) ETC. Just finding their playlists helped me then go look for the songs I couldn't remember that I really wanted for riding, (Like many of the above suggestions).

Happy music hunting! (I have an 80GB Classic IPOD in the trunk of my RTL, it even has Holiday playlists for my spouse <G>)

If you're in traffic, and you've got this one blasting at full volume: people will definitely be wondering what happened to you... nojoke

I find that it does a great job of clearing out my sinuses! :D

When I feel like aggressively charging around twisty roads.

Or some NIN

Cruising around? How bout some Stevie Ray?

The Four Seasons Suite by Vivaldi or anything by Bach. Any classical music that includes a harpsichord!

Celtic rock by Flogging Molly, the Rumjacks, Dropkick Murphys, etc..

All these songs are really excellent. If you have Amazon Prime and like to sream, an excellent choice for riding is the Dire Straits channel. Many good songs. I also like some Fleetwood Mac, Micks drums make a drive nice. One song I always seem to start with, Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me.

I also like Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi. We might as well throw in some Beethoven while we are at it. I like the unfinished fifth. :roflblack: Judge Judy's theme music.

That Little Old Band from Texas

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned it, but almost anything from ZZ Top. Legs, Sharp Dressed Man, Cheap Sunglasses. All good road tunes.

How about lightening it up a little bit? Think of sunny days, San Diego temperatures, the beach, party hardy times, cars we all had and wish we had kept, our first love - and the love(s) that got away, simpler times, our first beer, our first concert - Mine was The Beach Boys (can't ya tell?) in 1966. Great times!
