Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Will I void my warranty on a 2015 ST L if we install the BRP hitch ourselves?
And tow a trailer not made by can am?
I see a lot of people tow different trailers and have after market hitches.
Anyone run into flack from Can Am with warranty issues? Thank you.
Pam

A warranty can't be voided buy what you install. A dealer has to prove whatever part you added caused the damage you are trying to have covered by warranty. If they can prove it was your part, then they can deny that claim, but your warranty is still valid.

NOT TRUE ...... If you install it up-side down it will :yikes: ...:lecturef_smilie::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: .......sorry I couldn't let that pass ..... Mike
I believe if your dealer installs the BRP hitch you get a warranty on it but if you install it yourself and it doesn't work you don't get the same warranty. As for pulling a nonBRP trailer Huked is correct that they would have to prove that the trailer was the cause of the issue that you want warranty coverage on.

Ignore all the recommendations and comments above, except maybe SpyderAnn's. You're in Canada. Our rules don't mean nuthin' up there! You'll have to research Canadian warranty laws for yourself unless someone up there responds with good info.
