• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Buying choice on new Spyder F-3 Limited or RT-S

Guys, I have sold my 2013 RT-Limited and I am looking at a new 2016 RT-S or 2016 F-3 Limited with back case and all! Please give me some ideas on your thoughts of the two compared! We ride some two up, and I ride some solo. I even thought of going back to a Harley, but my age and health says think hard about going back to two wheels! Has the 2016 Fame breaking on the F-3's been solved? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!

 Two GREAT choices!!
You might want to have your "Co-Pilot" make the choice for you. Tha passenger accommodations are ab awful lot better on the RT-S.
You'll also get the automatic rear suspension adjustment capability of the ACS: set it, and forget it!
Happy Shopping, and good luck!

Either ones a winner with the 1330 and 6 speed--

If you are planning on logging some miles on weekend trips I would rely on your experience with the RT and its storage and riding style. Either way get a test ryde on the F-3 and see how the riding position suits you and get an idea on what mods/windshield may be in your future. Good Luck on your next ryde and more myles of smyles!!;)

Another card on the "both take a test drive" pile. They are different. You either like the F3 or not. Cost wise, if you add that rear trunk the F3 will cost as much or slightly more than the RT.

Let us know what works for you.

+1 for test riding both machines with your passenger on board, then base your decision on your opinions of the handling and comfort.

I was looking at a 2017 F3 Limited and a 2017 RT Limited, my co pilot said the sear on the RT was much more comfortable. The dealer had a leftover 2016 RT Limited in Pearl White and I settled on that. So getting so advice from the co pilot is a good idea. I really liked the F3 but for comfort the RT edged it out, IMHO.

I think you saved yourself from the $30,000 mistake.:bowdown:

If your into aesthetics, the f3t is the hands down winner...my copilot was more comfortable on the rt...oh well...she is getting used to the 2016 f3t limited and I sure like the way it looks and feels.

17 F3 Limited

I got the 17 because of the adjustable foot peg and handlebars.. I was a better fit for me than the next step up.
