There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. A Soldier's Spyder - Graphic Kit development by Spiralus Spyder

Very cool! :2thumbs::clap:

Here is an actual US Army bike that I really dig. Seen a few of these now.

Thanks! Is this the Harley Model 50 WLA? I think I've seen these in the various Army museums. The Army had thousands of them (and we shipped a bunch to the Soviets) made for WWII. Very rugged, practical bike, but the Willys Jeep kind of ended our military's widespread usage of motorcycles. A primary reason was stability, but imagine if there'd been a Spyder-type design back then... Of course you'd have needed a whole lot of trucks to carry the computer nannies...:opps:

Just a quick update. Marc wrote today; seems like his wife delivered their son 8 weeks prematurely. Although the baby's in the NICU, Marc says he's doing well.:clap:

Naturally, Marc's focus is where it belongs, so the Soldier's Spyder saga will be a little delayed. Keep the Spiralus folks in your thoughts and prayers!:pray:

Okay, folks,

Thanks for your input, comments, and advice. This time Marc has sent the graphics for the entire kit. No camouflage, but... Take a close look at the ghost flames and eagle!:clap:

Real nice...Recruiting offices will be wanting you to park outside their front doors! :thumbup:

That looks great!

.

Yeah, I'm impressed with what they came up with. It's a little hard to see the details in the smaller version, but once it's on (in a few weeks, I've still two more weeks on my Fort Lewis detail), I'll post some better pictures.

In the meantime, this might be a better closeup of the trunk lid.
:yes::yes:

:clap:
This is the design I'm going with, except for a font change on the "Army Strong" fender. Spiralus is asking for $259 CAD (approx $235 US), so I'm asking for this for my birthday. So, pictures should be available by last week of August, as I'm still away from home.
:gaah:

End of the Story!

Alrighty then, as promised, here are the pictures of my Spiralus kit installed on my Millenium Yellow Spyder. It took me 3 hours with the able assistance of my daughter, and I think we did fine!

The only thing I would say is that this material is really stretchy, and this makes lining up design elements that cross the piece boundaries a challenge, but, again, the ControlTac adhesive helped as we were able to position and reposition until it was close.

Throughout, Marc and the gang at Spiralus were great to work with, and I love my graphics.

The first pic is a 'before' shot of my Spyder. The next shows the taping of the pieces on to check placement, and the last three are of the finished work.

What do you think?

Looks real good even if it is a Army Spyder, almost went with a navy theme with mine but went with flames in the end. Mine are on the way should arrive Wednesday :clap:just in time. I leave for Branson the next day. I have a friend who dose these for a living coming over to help It is a big kit almost covers the entire bike. They were done by Peter Grant in BC. I will post pics when I get back.:doorag:That graphics package looks great on the yellow.

Very, very sharp! My compliments on a great design and a job well done. :thumbup: Wwe'll expect to see you both in the next Army ad campaign. :D It looks like it came right off the TV! WOW!!!
