• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vintage Motorcycle Days

NancysToy

Motorbike Professor
Well, the trailer is loaded and we're almost packed. The Spyder and two vintage bikes. It was real handy being able to just remove the BRP bags and racks, so we could load the bikes. Tight fit! We'll finish up tomorrow, then leave for Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio about lunchtime. Are any other SpyderLovers going to go? Last year there were two of us (missed ya Stuart49), and three Spyders in all, not counting the BRP Demo Team. May have been more, but that's all either of us were aware of. The Spyder drew a huge crowd in the infield all weekend.

The Demo Team will be at the event again this year. We will be there all weekend, too. We're volunteering at the bike shows Saturday all day, and we will be working in the AMA tent Sunday morning. Nancy's Spyder will be nearby. Look us up there, or see us on the grounds, in the swap meet, or watching the races. We'll be camping on the grounds beginning Thursday night. Hope to see some of you there. Great event!

Two?

Not twenty-two?!

It's none of my business, Scotty, but you and Nancy take it easy and don't work too hard at the event--relax a bit and have fun!

I used to be able to fit four in the trailer, until the Spyder came along. I don't mind so much...but it's so new! :joke:

As to the relaxing part, probably not in my programming. I have worked the shows for the last five or six years, to the point I nearly drop. Only one day of shows this year instead of two, though. To reward us, they volunteered us to work in the tent Sunday. We are doing more shifts, total, than anybody at the event. How'd that happen? If I wear myself out, this may be my last year. If Nancy wears herself out, I'll make sure it is her last year.

Thanks for the concern. Good to know someone is looking out for us...we're sure not bright enough to do it for ourselves. :D

Didn't hear from any SpyderLovers that they would be attending Vintage Motorcycle Days. Pity, great event. Just to give everybody something to rejoice about, however, I will be signing off for the next few days. Now wipe those grins off your faces...I'll be back. :joke: Catch y'all next week.
