• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It started with the simple task of RELOCATING my BATTERY. As anyone with Corbin Bags will attest, you don't want to deal with battery issues on the road with these puppies mounted. So I installed a marine connector in the OEM battery tray and brought the battery out to the Corbin...

Custom Dynamics 4.5" Risers (removed BRP 1" extended riser)
I left a few inches of the old bars for accessories and wrapped them with carbon fiber-look tape

Waiting promotes worsening Fever...

I bought an old stock 2009 GS seat on EBay for its pan, and sent it (with required riding pictures and personal stats) to Russell. While waiting I made the "mistake" of visiting LaMonster's Garage and wrapmyspyder.com. Pete! It was Sunday! What were you doing pitching me on a Sunday??? Then this happened...

Oh! and a makeshift luggage rack...

Now I am done modding...again

Wow...!!

That is a serious case of farkelitis...:roflblack: well done it all looks great but gotta say at 60° I would not be in the shop....:riding:congrats...:2thumbs:

Dan has one serious Spyder. He needs to take pictures of his audio system setup it is very impressive. I know you are going to like your RDL seat, I've yet to hear anyone who hasn't.

Oh, did you do all of this on the two days of winter we had? LOL

Thanks Ann! Yeah it was a brutal couple of days! :D My poorly stated joke was in reference to being from Indiana, where this time of year was definitely farkle time, and that I just haven't adjusted yet. Actually it was more guided by Russell's build date than anything else.

Thank you , sir! Yeah its hard to find a time here that's NOT good for riding. But then that also means you don't loose much when you take time to stop and mod! ;)

RDL Seat

Dan,
The RDL is a real work of art. :firstplace:
I see you have a very serious sound system too.
Makes for a Very Nice Ryde.
Now puts some miles on and tell us how it feels.
Cheers, David C.
