• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

top ten motorcycles for reliability

And somehow I feel...

...like I may be in for a troubled year with my 2010 RT. Site said "...by the fourth year of ownership." I'm three years past that...

I agree with Yamaha being on top, but I would have placed Kawasaki and Honda above Suzuki from my personal experience.

The Japanese 4 are so close it is moot to consider one worse than the other. One model could be great, while the same company may have a dud.

When you consider Honda, if Consumer reports wants to see reliable, think of all the Honda 50s, 70s, XR75s, SL100s and all similar we all thrashed and they continued to run. We may have been spoiled by simple, as complex and advanced seems to have more issues.

If you look at the date than the date of being published online was April 07, 2015. It talked about the last 4-year models. 2010 to 2014 motorcycles. The Can-am Spyders 2015 to Present have become better. Think about this in 2015, the Can-am Spyders sold made a mark of 100,000 units during the Spyderfest compared to over 7 billion population in the World. Tell you the truth that is not much. The new models such as the F3 and F3-S came out in 2015. There is a lot of huge improvements with the Can Am spyder models. Here is another link for your source:

If you want to know more in of the problems and go ahead and check this out. A lot of people complaining about the Can-am Spyder 2009 to 2013. As far as the 2015, only 1 person complained. Here is the link for this one: https://can-am.pissedconsumer.com/

I would have to say the 2015 models and up are new. They have been re-design. So we will see about these new models. As for now, I am happy that I have my Trike.

I would have expected BMW to be at or near the top. Wonder what's up with that?

One of my friends has a BMW GS1200 adventure and it has been very good for 25k . Had 1 very minor problem at about 10k. I too am surprised it is that low on the list.

Well this is my answer!

This post made sense about the years included and the improvements made since then. So - I need to upgrade to a newer Spyder! Now I gotta convince my passenger (my dear wife) that we should go newer to avoid being one of those 42% complainers! Waddaya think?

I LIKE YOUR THINKING:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I must be very lucky. I've ridden BMWs for years with no reliability problems. I've had BMW RT, LT and GTL and loved them all - especially the K1600 GTL - in-line 6 cylinder with tons of power. Three riding modes - Rain, Road, and Dynamic. I called the Dynamic mode "Demonic"! It let "nanny" take a nap while dialing up full performance. Not a sport bike or a racer, but the best combination of performance and comfort that I've ever experienced. I loved that bike, but neurological problems forced me to go to three wheels. I'm glad Can Am was here to provide my 2014 Spyder RTL. Other than a very minor oil leak that warranty took care of, it's been perfect.
