Suspension relocation

Hi guys and greeting from sunny Australia (where the riding at this time of year is excellent) :thumbup:

Just purchased a 2010 RT SE5 about 2 months ago and now need some suspension improvements.

I am after some information about 2008-2012 suspension relocators GS/RS/RSS/RT.

Basically they are not available in Oz anymore. So I was wondering if any of you nice people over the pond have any idea of who would make/manufacture them and willing to ship to our great land of Oz.

Have ordered sway bar and links.

PitBull used to produce those brackets, but I believe that they aren't in production anymore.
Perhaps Mike can tell you what he came up with.

Many other options available

There are several options open that will dramatically improve the handling. The first thing to consider is getting a professional alignment. The alignment your bike got when it was assembled was "rudimentary" at best. The second improvement to consider would be to upgrade the existing anti-sway bar to Baha Ron's anti-sway bar. It is a much beefier product than what came from the factory and will definitely take the majority of the roll out of the suspension. The third option I suggest is better shocks on the front. My personal choice was BRP Fox shocks. There are more expensive options available but, the Fox shocks are awesome. These will take the rest of the roll out the suspension.

Options....

I do have the relocators from Pittbull but got them some time ago. I followed a process starting with the BajaRon swaybar. That was a big change, then put in the relocators, again a big change. I finally installed Fox podium shocks and made it all work perfect. As mentioned above check with BLUEKNIGHT911 he does good work...:thumbup:

Skip the relocators and do it right by getting rid of those 7 year old stock shocks. They were marginal to begin with.

Best advise; the weak link in the suspension is the spring.

You could just change to stiffer springs but the damping function of your 7 yr old shocks would be the next weak link. If you get the shock relocators you are effectively only making the current springs a bit stiffer - the damping function of the old shocks would still be questionable. If you get new shocks with the right rated springs, you will only have to make this 1 change.
